We're Ange and Te Kani and our property A Deer Cottage is situated up in the hills, close to the Kaukapakapa Village. It overlooks the Kaipara Harbour, one of the largest harbours in the World, which covers 947 square kilometres of exposed mudflats and sandflats at low tide.

 

Kaukapakapa is on the alternative State Highway 16 route to Northland and the Bay of Islands but we also have the luxury of being  just a mere 15 minutes from the Silverdale interchange and only 46.7 kilometres from the Auckland CBD. 

 

Magnificent sunsets await your 2 bedroom boutique accommodation. There is a separate entrance through a charming cottage garden into your own private courtyard, alternative access can be via a level walkway through the pool area and a pretty gate into your own courtyard.

The breakfast materials provided are wholesome, organic eggs from our chickens and fresh seasonal produce from our garden or orchard.
